Michael B. Lehrman heads the trial defense division of the firm’s medical malpractice group. He is an incredibly successful trial attorney who focuses his practice on medical malpractice and insurance defense cases. He represents clients throughout the greater New York metropolitan area.
Practice Areas
A former partner at Martin, Clearwater & Bell, Mr. Lehrman began his legal career in the General Counsel’s Office of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, where he litigated Social Security cases on behalf of the Department.
In his 30 years of practice, Mr. Lehrman has successfully defended doctors and hospitals in numerous malpractice, general liability, and pharmaceutical liability cases, including DES (Diethylstilbestrol) defense litigation. He has also litigated a broad range of insurance defense matters, including product liability and general liability cases.
Education
Mr. Lehrman is a 1985 graduate of the Fordham University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Brandeis University in 1982.
